Welcome
to my blog, which I will be updating with new paintings and exhibitions as necessary.
Generally, I
use a style called hyper-realism. My materials are oil paints and acrylics.
I paint
according to my intuition and feelings.
I cannot tell you today what I will be painting tomorrow. I find my inspiration everywhere in the living world, with its birds, animals, insects, the sea, as well as boats,
costumes, parades, etc.
As
I never know what I will come across when out walking, I always have a camera
with me to record anything that could make a good painting.
A short biography
I
was born in Tonbridge Wells, Kent, England in 1948. I studied at Bromley College of Further and
Higher Education, London, as well as the Hamo Road Art Centre, London. I gained Diplomas in various subjects,
including Art and History. My first
exhibition was in London, England in 1969.
I came to live in Ottignies, Belgium in 1972 and am still living there. I am now a retired Civil Servant.

mon blog, au fur et à mesure, je le mettrai à jour avec les nouvelles
peintures, les expositions etc.
J’utilise un
style appelé hyper-réalisme. Les
matériaux utilisés sont la peinture à l’huile et l’acrylique.
Je suis
incapable de vous dire aujourd’hui ce que je vais peindre demain. Je travaille à l’intuition suivant mes
sentiments. Je puise mon inspiration dans tout les sujets: animaux, oiseaux, insectes ainsi que
la mer, les bateaux, les costumes, les parades etc.
Lors de mes nombreuses
promenades, j’ai toujours un appareil photo pour capturer différentes images. Celles-ci
pourraient être susceptibles à me donner l’inspiration, l’aide pour créer une
nouvelle peinture, un beau tableau.
Une courte biographie
Je suis née à
Tonbridge Wells, dans le Kent en Angleterre, en 1948. J’ai fait mes études au Collège de Bromley de
l’enseignement supérieur à Londres, et au Centre d’Art d’Hamo Road à
Londres. Je suis Diplômée en Art et
Histoire. J’ai exposé à Londres dés 1969.
Je suis venue en Belgique à Ottignies en 1972 où je vis toujours. Maintenant, je suis fonctionnaire à la retraite.
